The Hail Claim Process

2. Contact your Insurance claim hotline (800)-New-Claims
We have every insurance hotline number, and we will help you call in your claim if you need us to help you.
3. Have an Adjuster look at your damage, independent or carrier
Once a claim is logged the adjuster will come and assess your damage, and document any collateral damage. If they work for the carrier they are official, if they are independent they only offer opinions to the carrier. Public adjusters work only for you, if they succeed you both win.
4. Receive a Claim Summary and Payment
This is the true test, if everything goes right you will get a claim summary and a payment, usually within 10 days. Most policies are Replacement Cost or RCV and pay out at the Actual Cost or ACV. The depreciation is the difference and usually recoverable once the work is complete.
5. Contact us, to start your Roof replacement
Typically the insurance carrier will pay out about 55% of the actual damage. That is okay, we will work with your insurance to make it all come together. Usually our customers do not have any additional out of pocket cost besides the deductible.
6. We provide your insurance a final adjustment
The permit is pulled and inspected, your materials arrived and are now installed on your roof. Maybe even gutters and solar as well are complete. We measure everything us and send an adjustment to your insurance carrier. Once the agree, they will send you another check that funds the remainder of the job paid to the General Contractor. This adjustment is called a supplement and it is very common in the industry.
